Seneca 8/30 - Brother's first laker
I took my brother out yesterday in the boat. It rained all morning till around 9 am. The water on Seneca was pretty calm until around 10:30. I got him into his very first lake trout - jigging . We got it in 100 FOW off from Belhurst. Did not get any other fish since we had to get off the water as my 14 ft boat does like those big waves.
A short lived trip but I consider the day a success.
I also got a chance to try jigging with a centerpin. - oh baby - Thinking I am going to have to get centerpin #3!!!!

Good Day on the Seneca River
Took my cuz out on Seneca River at the mud locks and got him into his 2nd muskie that he has ever caught. - that's two more than I have. Steve definitely had the better day. Overall the day was a great success with lots of fish hooked and plenty of battle scars on the lures.

04182008 Naples
Hit Naples today - a tradition for every April I become another year older.
It was 75 and sunny today - clear skies, clear water, had to keep my shadow off the water on every turn.
I tied up a half dozen bh phesant tails and landed a small but scrappy fish - these trout are loaded with color!
My cousin landed a nice 14" trout on a nightcrawler.
By the end of the day I lost all my nymphs, some spinners and a few jigs. - If your not losing tackle, your not tryin hard enough!
